I finally got to the sketch for the Bride of Frankenstein In Color painting. I plan on doing all these paintings the same dimension, so my first version is a landscape portrait as that seems to fit her beehive hair and the pose I chose for her. However it was bothering me that it was in landscape orientation as I was planning on having them all in portrait orientation. So I extended the sketch and drew her robes as well. I just finished it so I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I'll have to sleep on it and see if it makes sense tomorrow when I'm not so "close" to it. Even if I do go with this pose it still is a rough sketch and will have to be tightened up before any paints get pulled out.
